Indicated for reducing TG levels in adults with severe hypertriglyceridemia (≥ 500 mg/dL).Also used as adjunctive therapy to maximally tolerated statins in adults with elevated TG (≥ 1.7 mmol/L or ≥ 150 mg/dL) plus established CVD or diabetes with ≥2 CVD risk factors, to lower the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, coronary revascularization, and unstable angina requiring hospitalization.❊ Contraindications and adverse reactions: see instructions for use.
